If you have been affected by the recent storms in the counties of Alexander, Calhoun, Christian, Clinton, Douglas, Jackson, Jersey, Madison, Monroe, Morgan, Randolph, St. Clair, Cass, Cumberland, Iroquois, Lawrence, Marion, Menard, Moultrie, Pike, Richland, Sangamon, or Vermilion, you are eligible for safeguards during this time of hardship including an extended grace period of 60 days on premium payments for your life insurance.
Effective immediately, Securian Financial Group underwriting affiliates; Minnesota Life and Securian Life have implemented safeguards to aid in the protection of all consumers residing in or any property located in the affected counties. The enrollment process is very simple, you will be asked for some information from your current premium bill and then asked to verify your contact information. If any of your contact information shown online is incorrect, please contact our customer service team at 1-866-365-2374 so that we can update your records. The final step will be to choose a user ID and password.
On the Log on page, select the Sign Up link.
Already enrolled in the system?
If you typically don't use our online payment system to pay your premium bill online there is a single payment feature available for you. Using this payment method, you do not have to create a profile for Minnesota Life’s and Securian Life’s Online Payment System; however you cannot store payment account information, view your payment status or receive e-mails when your new premium bills are available.

Variable Group Universal Life (VGUL) premium payments will be credited to your account using our standard clearing process for variable products1.

Please note: if you have already enrolled and are currently paying your premiums automatically through this website, and you choose to pay via EFT, you are responsible for canceling the automatic payment on this website. We will not be responsible for any overdraft charges from your bank should you fail to do so.
1Payments received by 3:00 PM Central Time on a business day will be applied the next business day using the market values as of the close of business for that following day. Payments received after 3:00 PM Central Time on a business day or at any time on a nonbusiness day will be applied the second business day using the market values as of the close of business day on the day the processing occurs. The 3:00 cut off time will be determined using the time maintained on our computer system. Business days are Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays, assuming the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is open. Minnesota Life and Securian Life will close each day's processing in accordance with all posted NYSE closing times. Premium payments received after the posted closing times of the NYSE will be treated as if they were received the next day the NYSE is open.
