Lifestyle Benefits are a suite of additional resources and professional support, available as part of our relationship with Securian Financial, that can help address today's life challenges and plan for tomorrow.

These resources are automatically available to active U.S. employees covered under our group life insurance program. Your spouse and insurance-eligible children can also use these resources, even if they're not covered under the life insurance program.

There is no additional fee or enrollment for these resources. Just access the services you need, whenever you need them.

24/7 online, pre-trip resources and support for emergency travel assistance and other services when traveling 50+ miles from home. These include medical relocation and medical or security evacuation, passport, visa, immunization and currency conversion info, assistance replacing lost or stolen luggage or repatriation of mortal remains or other critical items and much more.

Legal, financial and grief resources from TELUS Health

Access professional services for a variety of needs – from legal matters and financial situations to coping with loss – through comprehensive web and mobile resources, as well as consultations. Included are resources such as will prep templates and other key legacy documents – and a free, 30-minute consultation per issue, by phone or in an attorney’s office (additional services available at 25 percent discount). In addition, telephone consults or 45-minute counseling session per issue available on other topics – from budget analysis, tax planning or grief support. Legacy planning resources from Securian Financial

Access a variety of online information/resources, including end-of-life and funeral planning, final arrangements, important directives and survivor assistance. In addition to the online tools and resources, after a claim is started these additional services are available to beneficiaries by phone: Funeral concierge services allow for coverage verification and direct payment to a funeral home so services can be provided before insurance payment is made. Same-day funeral home assignment services reduce concern about paying funeral expenses by working with the funeral home or lending agency.

Available at no cost for beneficiaries, Empathy provides on-demand tools and human support to help loved ones save valuable time after loss. This additional layer of care can help ease their burden, so beneficiaries can focus on what matters most. 

  • Dedicated Care Manager at the ready: Live support available for expert guidance on all aspects of loss 
  • Personalized care plan: A step-by-step roadmap tailored to the family’s needs, helping them understand what to do next 
  • Probate and estate settlement guidance: Assistance navigating the legal process of probate and settling their loved one’s estate 
  • Time-saving tools: Assistance to help simplify complicated tasks such as closing accounts, funeral planning and more 
  • Emotional and grief resources: A wide collection of meditations, tools and resources available to help process grief and bring about healing
