Note: *Age reductions apply. Your coverage reduces to $21,951 at ages 65-69, $15,197 at ages 70-74, $10,131 at ages 75-79 and $6,754 at ages 80 and over.

Additional benefits

In addition to life insurance coverage, your active employee plan includes the following added benefits:

Early benefit payments if diagnosed as terminally ill

If an insured EUTF active employee becomes terminally ill with a life expectancy of 12 months or less, he/she may request early payment of 100 percent of the life insurance amount.

Repatriation benefit

Provides an additional benefit for the preparation and transportation of mortal remains if the insured dies at least 200 miles from home. This benefit is equal to 10% of the life insurance benefit.

Beneficiary changes

• If you had an existing beneficiary designation on file with USAble, it will transfer to Securian and you need to take no action.
• To update your beneficiary designation online, visit the forms & documents page to download the step-by-step instructions.
• To update your beneficiary designation using a paper form after 7/8/2019, visit the forms & documents page to download the form. Please complete the beneficiary designation form and return it to Securian via fax or mail, as noted on the form.

Take your coverage with you

If you are no longer eligible for coverage as an active EUTF employee, you may be eligible to continue your group life insurance coverage. Premiums may be higher than those paid by your employer.
