Additional benefits
In addition to life insurance coverage, your retiree plan includes the following added benefits:
Early benefit payments if diagnosed as terminally ill
If an insured EUTF retiree becomes terminally ill with a life expectancy of 12 months or less, he/she may request early payment of 100 percent of the life insurance amount.
Repatriation benefit
Provides an additional benefit for the preparation and transportation of mortal remains if the insured dies at least 200 miles from home. This benefit is equal to 10% of the life insurance benefit.
