Accelerated death benefit
If an insured person becomes terminally ill with a life expectancy of 12 months or less, he/she may request early payment of up to 50 percent of the life insurance amount.
Continue your coverage
If you are no longer eligible for life insurance as an active employee due to the voluntary or involuntary termination of employment (including retirement), you may be eligible to continue your in-force life insurance coverage without providing proof of good health.
